Fabrication of a Potential Electrodeposited Nanocomposite for Dental Applications

In the present study, a nanocrystalline Ni-Fe matrix with reinforced TiO2 nanoparticles as functional nanocomposite material was fabricated by pulsed current electroforming in UV-LIGA (lithography, electroplating, and molding). The influences of on deposition were also investigated using scanning electron microscopy, transmission vitro cytotoxicity assay. It found that 5 wt.% showed smooth surface better dispersion property. When is combined 20 TiO2, it resulted congeries nanoparticles. addition, possessed properties performed pulse electrodeposition. microstructure electrodeposited Ni-Fe-TiO2 FeNi3 phase containing anatase nano-TiO2. Moreover, Ni-Fe-5 exhibited structural integrity. Cytotoxicity assay results proved different concentrations had good biocompatibility. Therefore, optimization parameters successfully applied to fabricate nanocomposite, thus could be used an endodontic file for dental applications.
